P.E.A.R.S.

Performance Enhancing Athletic Recovery Specialist

Earn Income by Leading Recovery Classes
Learn how to run structured, impactful recovery sessions that can be offered at gyms, studios, or online—turning recovery into a marketable skill you get paid for.

Stand Out in the Fitness or Martial Arts World
Most trainers and instructors focus on pushing hard. You'll be the one who knows how to guide people in slowing down the right way—making you more valuable, trusted, and well-rounded.

Help Others (and Yourself) Recover Smarter, Not Just Harder
Whether it’s your students, clients, or teammates, you’ll know how to calm their nervous systems, speed up recovery, and prevent burnout—skills you’ll benefit from personally too.

Build a Sustainable Career Around Wellness
The fitness industry is shifting toward longevity and recovery. This course gives you tools that align with that trend—making it easier to teach long-term, with less wear and tear on your body.

This teacher training brings together science and four core practices—Deep Stretching (Yin Yoga), Mobility Drills, Breathwork, and Non-Sleep Deep Rest (Yoga Nidra)—to teach you how to improve and accelerate recovery for better athletic performance and how to teach it in a group class setting.

In this training, you will learn to:

  • Use long-hold Yin Yoga stretches to release tension and improve flexibility.

  • Apply targeted joint range-of-motion drills to maintain healthy, mobile connective tissue.

  • Guide simple breathwork exercises that calm the nervous system and support recovery.

  • Lead NSDR sessions that bridge active work to restorative relaxation.

You’ll also develop the skills to structure and lead recovery classes for both hobbyists and competitive athletes—designing session flows, offering clear coaching cues, and adapting each module to your crowds needs. By the end of this course, you’ll have a practical, expereince AND science-backed framework to help others recover faster, relax deeper, feel better, and make this a career worth its weight in gold.

Q: How do I graduate?

A: You can graduate either online over Zoom or by joining our next in-person camp in Portugal, July 16–21. Whichever path you choose, you'll get exact class templates and proven structures—no filler, no fluff. You'll leave with real tools you can start using right away, not just a notebook full of vague ideas.

Q: Is P.E.A.R.S. an accredited course?

A: Yes. PEARS is registered with Yoga Alliance and counts as YACEP (Continuing Education) hours. Those YACEP points are what every Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) must earn on a regular basis to keep their credential active. So, if you already hold the Yoga Coach RYT-200 certification, completing PEARS adds the extra continuing-education credit you need, effectively keeping you in good standing with Yoga Alliance for the next renewal period (about two-plus years, depending on where you are in your three-year CE cycle).
