What is up guys, I just finished recording the six parts of the Yoga Uniao second series. The first series is already available on Yoga4BGD.net and this is the second series. This is absolutely no nonsense, no bullshit. My wife and I ourselves created this sequence which is a blend of yoga, capoeira and jiu-jitsu warm-up moves that are designed to be the absolute, absolute perfect warm-up and compliment to a jiu-jitsu body.
And I promise that from my heart and I swear on my mother's grave even though she's still alive, God bless her soul, that this works. And I've seen it in myself, in my wife and in all the students of the Yoga Uniao classes we taught. Yoga Uniao is like a union in Portuguese and we tried to blend martial arts with yoga in a way that made sense for BJJ. So I have a friend and a teacher, Tengil, he's an extremely talented capoeira guy and he helped us design the moves that would still make kind of sense to a capoeira person and still be very applicable to get the physical benefits, the stretching, the movement, the coordination, the choreography of capoeira and blend it into a series like this.
And it's the same series every time, it's like 70, 80, 90 techniques that are blended together into a flow and you have to do the first series before you try the second. Do the first series at least 20, 30 times and then you will understand and can appreciate the difficulty and the pure, it's so nice to finish 10, 15 minutes like when you do it, when you know it you can do it in like 12 minutes but when you first do it's like 15, 20 minutes. But the sensation is indescribable, I love it. I use it to get focused before a competition, to lose some weight and to really have something concrete to do that I can do every time that doesn't change because everything is going on in competition so I like to have one thing to do and I usually do the second series as a good warm up.
You should probably do the first series as a warm up and then like when you really want to beat yourself do the second series.
