So the level two is split into two parts. The stuff you do at home, the prep and the homework and the curriculum on Teachable and the live meetup. Why do we do a live meetup when the world is in lockdown? We're not.
We're waiting until this crazy period is loosened a little bit and people can travel again and then we have to meet up. Because some things, many things, most things are conveyable through this camera and screen. Many things, some things are not. And those things, we will have to meet you in person and shake hands and look at you and roll with you and choke you to know who you really are because we only wanna certify people we have met and that we can see are not complete psychopaths.
So for you to prove that you are a legitimate person and not just artificial intelligence, you will have to travel. And I'll talk more about the dates and everything but we will travel to almost every part of the world so that you have a chance to participate in these trainings without, you need a passport but you don't have to travel too far. But the things we will do when we meet up is three things that I can think of, probably many more things, but the ability to teach workshops, seminars, yoga slash Jiu Jitsu seminars because the best format we have found when you are a Jiu Jitsu player that teaches yoga for BJJ is to combine yoga and Jiu Jitsu. So we will teach you how to structure a 90 minute or two hour seminar where you get everybody moving with yoga.
You move into, and in the yoga, you discuss some aspects of the yoga like the squeezing or this or this or this. And then you teach them Jiu Jitsu techniques that apply those exact same yoga principles in Jiu Jitsu so that people can see the correlation between flexibility or strength or base or whatever it is that you're discussing in Jiu Jitsu and they can learn a technique or refine a technique they already know and see like, okay, when I have done yoga, I feel the Jiu Jitsu much better. That's what you wanna be able to teach people in a seminar. And of course you wind them down with some stretches and Shavasana and people will have a completely different experience than just some dude or girl blabbering about their individual techniques for two hours and people forget 99% of it the day after.
So the seminar slash workshop will teach you how to convey a message that people really respond well to. The other thing you will learn when we meet up is how to teach privates, how to communicate intimately with someone and discussing and really seeing a person and trying to find their level and help them where they are because it's very common, everybody who has taken privates knows that knowing something and teaching something is two vastly different things. And teaching privates is a great way for you to get your career started because if you do the level two, my guess is that you are ready to do a career switch. Maybe not quit your job, but at least going down to part-time and not spend your whole life working in someone else's office chair, but you want to take a little bit more control and maybe unlock a Monday or Tuesday of the week and teach Jiu Jitsu, teach yoga for BJJ or move away from having your part-time job and just being able to do your gym full-time or whatever it is, but I know that most people who show up for the level two will have the ambition to make money off of teaching yoga for BJJ and workshops and privates are a first start to do that and we want to help you be a great instructor when you teach your weekly classes like you got when you did the level one and now level two, but we also want you to be a great person who can take a room full of 50 people and teach them a workshop seminar and also the most interested people will ask you for privates.
You should be confident to teach them privates, trying to figure out how you can help them individually and how they can help themselves and motivate people to commit and not just tell them what to do, but give them the means how to do it themselves. Another big part of the meetup will be adjustments, how to help people not do yoga incorrectly. We don't have time to do that in the level one, we don't have time to talk about how to give someone a warrior two adjustment when you see someone doing this. We don't have time to tell you how to make them feel like this because just a gentle touch, assuming that you're not, we're not in full corona pandemic freak out, but when you're allowed to actually put your hands on someone without them freaking out, just a touch and two seconds in the right place can make them go from here to, I get it.
A picture says more than a thousand words and a touch is just like a picture. One touch or one correction or adjustment in the done the right way with the right timing can make a world of difference for someone in down look like this. It will give a great sense of mastery. It's not like they will admire you for doing maybe a little bit, but it's mostly about like, oh, you feel good there?
No? Okay, how about now? Great. That three second interaction with someone can make them come back to your class for years.
So it's a very, very powerful part doing adjustments to help people do yoga better. Just putting a hand there for them to push back into and make them realize that, oh, it's a line. It's a line of power going from my butt to my hands. Oh, I can see it now.
Like my internal stuff are starting to work instead of me just being there. So adjustment and individual corrections as well as considering people's differences. We all have two arms and two legs. 99.9% of us are, you know, we look the same, but we experience classes extremely different because of our individual, you know, the angle of our elbow and you know, where our arms stop.
Some people can go here, some people can go here. So that's why we put anatomy as part of the curriculum because we want you to understand that there is no cookie cutter way of teaching. If everybody was cut out of the same cookie cutter, we could all teach one class and everybody would love it. But we want you to understand where your limits are in what you can say and be confident that you're not teaching people incorrectly.
Because the worst teacher in the world is someone who thinks they know what they're doing and they're wrong. Like you're in the class and they tell you to do something that's completely impossible. And you feel like you're, the way they framed it, you feel like you're stupid or like there is something wrong with you. And that's the kind of teacher we don't want you to become.
We want you to learn how to teach without doing those pitfalls of saying, you should be able to do this because I can and most other people can. But maybe his ankles or knees or hips have a different proportions that makes this pose impossible. So we definitely want to address that and spend some time in order to keep you humble. We wanna keep you humble and not make you arrogant.
So we will spend some time to make sure that you don't become an arrogant asshole. That's it for the live. We will of course address all your questions that I will talk about in the homework in the live. You will have a million questions and we will have a million answers.
So we will of course spend some time doing that too and have a lot of fun and roll and everything. It will be a complete package experience. You're gonna love meeting us in the level two and try to shock us out and have a good time. We are going to smash it.
But that's the plan. We do all the hard work before we meet at home, after the kids go to sleep or before work or whenever you can do it, you do all the prep work. Then we just meet up, talk, do yoga, roll and have a lot of fun. And learn a lot.
That's the plan. See you soon.
