Being able to sit down and get up from the floor is one of the best predictors to how well you are living life and how long you are going to live. You never want to end up in a situation where you have to pull some rope to have someone come help you just to get the hell up from the floor. You never want that to happen. Imagine your past self, your young, really young self having a glimpse into the future and seeing where you are right now.
If you feel like the chances are high that they would have a shocked expression on how bad your ability to move is right now and you see the fear in their eyes that when they grow up they are going to be you, then you have a serious problem. The problem doesn't have a difficult solution. The solution is actually very simple. Let's make a commitment to both our 90 year old self and our really young self that we are going to do what it takes right now in the middle of a busy adult life to do the small things every single day continuously without interruption to make our life be better right now and 30 years from now.
Pushing back the decline is not hard because mobility actually really has no correlation to age just to inactivity which means we only lose our mobility when we stop moving. So let's learn how to do this simple daily maintenance so that we can feel and remain young for life. Let's go!
