My body hurts from BJJ, and I heard Yoga is the thing. How do I get started?

First, click here to register on Yoga for BJJ. Before that you can click on the videos and see which videos are available to our members. When you feel ready for the benefits and effects of Yoga on your own body, you are ready to subscribe as a member!. The monthly subscription is 17$ per month, that’s about 50 cents per day, and you will get access to over 100 videos (and counting)! The yearly is 150$ per year, even more discounted and an awesome push to get your butt on a yoga mat 🙂

The first month is just 7$ and we always refund the money if you are not satisfied after the first month (has yet to happen).

When do I flow, when do I stretch?

Flows are normally better as a standalone workout and perfect as a warm-up before BJJ and stretches are better after a long day or after training. There is nothing really wrong with doing them at any time, except for maybe long static stretching sessions before training (science shows that that isn’t the best idea). For the morning specifically we have 2 morning yoga videos for when you are feeling sleepy and tight.

How often should I do yoga?

Great question, asked by everyone ever. If you do yoga once a week it is far better than doing yoga zero times per week. However, if you do an hour of yoga every day it is even better. My honest answer would be –as much as possible. Be honest with yourself and force yourself to do it when you are feeling tired or lazy and the results will be better!

I get an error when trying to sign up!

Ok, then there are a couple of things to check:
1. Make sure you have a credit or debit card with sufficient funds.
2. Just to make sure there is no caching issue going on, try going incognito (chrome: ctrl+shift+N), or click “Private Browsing” in Firefox.
3. If all else fails, give it another go in an hour. The mysteries of the internet will never be completely understood.

There are a lot of videos. Where do i start?

The best way to start is with the beginners sequence, found here. After you have ran through them three or four times, go ahead and explore the videos randomly and add a few as favorites. After you have practiced for a couple of weeks, go ahead and try our programs, like Hip week and Back body week.

Do I have to warm up before doing a class?

Usually, no. But that depends on what class you do! If it is a very challenging flow it can be a good idea to warm up with some stretching and sun salutations first. You can’t go wrong with taking it easy and start slowly, and I promise you will figure this out for yourself 🙂

I have an injury in __enter bodypart of choice__

If you have a serious injury, talk to your doctor or physiotherapist and ask if Yoga is OK.
Many positions are great if you are hurt, while others might aggravate and make it worse.
A bit of sensitivity and self-preservation is needed here, and I would never give general advice to specific conditions (as I am not a doctor or specialist). That being said, I think most people will benefit from practicing yoga on a regular basis, injured or not! Go slow and don’t push it and you will be good.

It says my username and password are incorrect?

This is common, because most people tend to forget if their username is their email or a username they set.
If you cannot reset your password, then send an email to info@yogaforbjj.net and I will remind you of your username, and reset your password.

I paid, but I cannot access the videos. What do I do?

Two things: First make sure that you actually cannot see the videos! If that is the case, then clear your browsers cache, and even try a different browser. If you still cannot watch the videos, please send an email to info@yogaforbjj.net and I will hard-boot your account (kicking it hard, and then restarting it.) That always works!

I have Got to cancel my account with Yoga for BJJ. How do i do that?

Very sorry to hear that, but no worries – Your first option is to go into your account and cancel your subscription there with a click or just send an email to info@yogaforbjj.net  and I will cancel your payments. If you have financial problems, please let me know and we can find a solution for that.

What yoga mat should i buy?
